Island Šipan + Recycling Manufacture Story

You are an environmentally conscious traveler who has recently been considering visiting Europe. Enter, Čičimak (ChiChiMak)! A peculiar tree, once a staple in most Mediterranean gardens, is slowly fading into oblivion. And you will be planting it. You? Yes, you.

We will pick you up in the morning and take you to the Čičimak shop, where each of you will choose your favorite Čičimak plant! You can proudly show your new green friend to our creative friend Marjan, who has been cleaning the Adriatic Sea and making quite interesting stuff using upcycled plastic.

We will give you some of his stuff; don't worry. Okay, now it is time to do some actual work and plant your Čičimak. The first location is Šipan Island, nicknamed "Golden Island" due to its agricultural importance in the medieval Republic of Dubrovnik. Don't expect any speedboats, though, because… Carbon footprint?
